Take a break!

This past week we took the girls and went to San Diego. We had nice accommodations via the Frumusanu's (thanks guys). Braedyn said "This is the best house ever, on vacation!" They loved it and Braedyn loved pushing the elevator buttons. We did lots of things and had a great time. We arrived on Monday and stayed until Friday morning.

TUESDAY...Sea World here we come!

Just in case the weather got too chilly we packed a hat for Braedyn. She decided to try it out even before we left.
Blowing kisses....

Hey it's Shamu or otherwise known as Sambu per Braedyn.
Nice photography Jas...Shamu tosses the trainer in the air, classic trick! Never gets old.
The Sea lion show was rather humorous. Sea World employees are actor too.
My favorite big girl.
Nixon and Mommy hanging out while Braedyn and Papa played. I love my little Nixie!

Braedyn in the bouncy. That girl loves to jump.
They had a Sesame Street kids play area there. Braedyn had a blast climbing in the nets and tunnels up high. She was fearless and had a blast.

A picture with a horse...I asked Braedyn "Do you want Mommy to buy you a horse?"
Braedyn: "No"
Oh good, that was way to easy.

We visited the Wild Artic...saw the polar bears and the penguins!
Ahhhh.....A Nixon Monster!

Soooo tired, such a long day!
WEDNESDAY...Puppet Theatre and Balboa Park
Nixon...little miss independent. She refuses to sit in a high chair whenever we go out. She won't eat. She loved sitting in her own seat at the theatre and had way more fun playing with those than watching the show.
The show was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs...the Grimm Brothers version. It was so cute and rather comical. Here's a picture with Snow White and the Wicked Witch Stepmother.
Ta-da!

This is Braedyn's standard cute pose. It is cute except she squints so I can't see her eyes. It always reminds me of the time a random woman asked me "where does she get her Asian eyes from?" Hmmm must be Jason's side of the family :).
There was a beautiful Lily pond with koi at the park.
Here is some pictures from the botanical gardens...beautiful flowers.
I love that they love each other!

THURSDAY...San Diego Temple and Mission Beach

We went to visit the San Diego temple with the girls. Braedyn has always wanted to go so we finally took her to see the actual thing. It was a beautiful day and the girls had a good time exploring the grounds and climbing on the benches outside. I'm glad they were in a good enough mood to let me take numerous pictures of them.

I love this picture of the girls!

The girls had a blast at Mission Beach on Thursday. The weather was so beautiful the whole time we were there. Braedyn was freaking out about the fact that we had no bucket for her to dig. We stopped at Rite Aid with high hopes, hey it's a beach town why wouldn't they have buckets year round right? So I go in and an employee asks me if I need help...oh course I do! I ask him.."you don't happen to have any buckets with shovels?" He saw my desperation and gave me a wink and said "follow me." Ahhh perfect...nice big buckets....he saved the day. Two dollars later and my 3 year old was content! It wasn't pink but red is close enough right, she didn't seem to mind.

FRIDAY...Going home
Last day at the condo.

On the way home we stopped at Chick-fil-a in Murrieta. Nixon fell and hit her chin on the table. Apparently her crazy tongue was in between her teeth (again) and she bit really deep into it. She was bleeding like crazy but it didn't seem to bother her that much cause she just kept eating. Here's her impression of the Joker in "The Dark Knight" movie.
